Beastie Boys Story Trailer

Apple has revealed the first trailer for Beastie Boys Story. We learned earlier this month that Oscar-winner Spike Jonze had a new documentary on the legendary group set to premiere later this year. Now, we have a little look at what that’s going to entail, and it looks to be an intimate, unique experience. How, precisely, it will play out remains to be seen, but it’s promised that this will be a “live documentary experience” from director Spike Jonze and the surviving members of the Beastie Boys.

The Spike Jonze directed teaser kicks off with a rendition of the group’s hit song Paul Revere while archival clips of Mike D, MCA and Ad-Rock play. We then see Mike ” Mike D” Diamond and Adam “Ad-Rock’ Horovitz take the stage to present clips to a live audience...

“Toss A Coin To Your Witcher”

Here are the best cover versions of the song “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher” from The Witcher. The Netflix series is one of the most in-demand shows streaming right now, and is responsible for inspiring many memes online, and has earned particularly great popularity for the aforementioned song.

“Toss a Coin to Your Witcher” is performed by the bard Jaskier at the end of the second episode of The Witcher season 1, chronicling his time spent with Geralt of Rivia after being captured by elves, and the witcher’s role in saving them. The catchy tune is hard to forget and even harder to hate, especially with so many versions circling around.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Show Is Happening

The internet was a flutter today with wild rumors about the future of Disney+’s upcoming series starring Ewan McGregor as Star Wars hero Obi-Wan Kenobi. The “source” of most of it was a tweet from a parody account that looked like the website Discussing Film, claiming that “Ewan McGregor has exited the ‘OBI-WAN’ Disney+ series due to creative differences.” (The fact that their  “source” was “@disneyplus” probably should have been a dead giveaway.) There were a lot of unfounded rumors about the show going on hiatus or being canceled altogether, and a lot of ominous tweets and GIFs.

According to TheWrap, “sources with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap on Friday that the story circulating is ‘totally inaccurate,’ and that ...

Flash Arrives in Crisis

The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover wrapped up an epic five-part run last night, but not before delivering one more major universe-shattering cameo. Ezra Miller, who plays The Flash in the DCEU, appeared in part four of the crossover event and crossed paths with Grant Gustin’s version of the character, who plays the part on The CW’s The Flash. This essentially makes the DCEU part of the larger multiverse in the Arrowverse, firmly binding them together for the first time.

In the episode, Barry Allen has disappeared. At one point during his travels, he hears a disembodied voice that sounds awfully familiar. Then, the two different Barrys meet face-to-face and the exchange is pretty delightful...

Child’s Play TV Show

Don Mancini’s Chucky TV Show has officially found a home at Syfy. The network made the announcement during the Television Critics Association winter press tour over the weekend. This is big news for Child’s Play fans who have been waiting for Mancini to give us more information about the long-talked about series. In addition to the announcement, we have also received the first plot details and they are very intriguing.

The Chucky series was first announced by Child’s Play creator Don Mancini before the reboot hit theaters. Mancini did not have anything to do with the reboot and was not a fan of what the studio did. With that being said, Mancini quietly worked on fine tuning the upcoming series, which will air on the Syfy network. The network recently gained the rights to air the Child’s Pl...

Smallville’s Jimmy Olsen Twist

Smallville‘s Jimmy Olsen reveal in season 8 was one of the show’s worst ideas. At the end of the show’s eighth season, Smallville killed Aaron Ashmore’s Jimmy Olsen and dropped a shocking revelation about Jimmy that allowed the series to dispense with such an iconic character. Introduced in season 6, Jimmy was a photographer at the Daily Planet who became romantically involved with Clark’s closest ally, Chloe (Allison Mack). The couple married in season 8. In the season 8 finale, Smallville shocked audiences by having Doomsday’s human side, Davis Bloome (Sam Witwer), murder Jimmy Olsen — this was a bad idea on the part of the WB/CW show.
