This Bizarre Baby Yoda

Baby Yoda

Baby Yoda

In a record amount of time, The Mandalorian’s breakout character The Child (better known as “Baby Yoda”) has captured the hearts of Star Wars fans everywhere. Forget about Porgs. All is Baby Yoda now.

As is the way of 2019, the adorable little green man has already spawned a sea of internet memes and an extensive merchandise line to boot. Next on the table is perhaps the most unsettling image you’ll see today. ScreenRant unearthed from the depths of Instagram a piece of fan art that depicts Baby Yoda as Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck:

There. Now you can’t unsee it. Gaze into the soulful eyes of “Joker Yoda” (Joda?) for too long and who knows what will happen. There’s no denying that the artwork is incredibly lifelike...

Does The Mandalorian Know

WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Mandalorian.

Disney+’s The Mandalorian continues to develop the relationship between Pedro Pascal’s Dyn Jarren, aka “the Mandalorian,” and the mysterious Baby Yoda, but does the bounty hunter even know who Jedi Master Yoda is? In the first three episodes of the Jon Favreau-created live-action series, much of the story revolved around the pair’s dynamic. It was clear from the get-go that Dyn has always had a soft spot for the 50-year-old child from the moment he saw him. That said, it seems like Dyn’s affinity to Baby Yoda purely stems from the latter being an abandoned child, and Dyn having had the same experience himself.

‘Rise of Skywalker’ Sneak Peek

The Mandalorian

The Mandalorian

According to Collider, Episode 7 of Disney+’s The Mandalorian will feature an exclusive sneak peek of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Episode 7 also marks the penultimate episode of Season 1 of the Star Wars spinoff series, which has made waves with the cultural impact of Baby Yoda alone.

While fans continue to speculate over the season’s conclusion, the sneak peek of Episode IX serves as a little reminder that there are much bigger fish to fry. For example, figuring out how the heck Emperor Palpatine is going to make his return after being thrown into a chasm by Darth Vader and seemingly exploding. In the meantime, Disney also released the episode synopsis for Episode 7 of The Mandalorian, which is as follows: “An old rival extends an invitation for The Ma...

To Understand Doctor Strange 2

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange

I’m tired of having to figure out how to balance my checkbook just so I can keep and/or acquire Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, CBS All Access, Apple TV, and, most recently, Disney+. When it was announced that WandaVision, Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and several other new Marvel shows are on the way soon, it’s hard not to let out an exasperated sigh. Especially when it was announced that we need to watch them to understand upcoming blockbusters like Doctor Strange 2.

As everyone and their corporate-friendly brother is looking to get into the streaming game, we’re veering dangerously close into content overload...

Disney+ Streams X-Men

It’s been a little under a week since Disney+ launched, and fans are beginning to notice a number of their favorite television shows are either missing episodes or being aired out of order. Although Disney’s new streaming service contains a ton of kid’s cartoons from the 1990’s, like both the Spider-Man and X-Men Animated Series, as well as DuckTales and Goof Troop, something feels… off.

There is already a precedent for Disney using its subscription service to once again rewrite history, as fans of Star Wars have already noted. The Disney+ version of A New Hope, a film which has already been re-cut and re-edited more than most other movies in history, changed the infamous Han/Greedo scene to include a new line of dialog from Greedo, specifically him shouting the word “Maclunkey...
