Jurassic World 3 Gets Working Title

We have some details regarding Jurassic World 3 as production gears up for a 2020 shoot. First off, we’ve learned that the movie’s working title will be Arcadia, which may or may not tell us a thing or two about the sequel. It’s additionally been revealed that the production will be shooting in Vancouver, Canada, which joins a growing list of confirmed locations for the Universal Pictures blockbuster.

According to a new report, the latest entry in the Jurassic Park franchise will be filming under the title Arcadia. That’s not the official title. Rather, a working title that is used as something of a placeholder during production. Sometimes these titles provide clues about what’s to come. More often than not, they’re mostly nonsense that can help disguise the real title during filming...

Peter Sarsgaard Joined The Batman

The Batman

The Batman

After a long and rough start, Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been surprising us on a pretty regular basis with casting info. And, Reeves himself has been using his Twitter feed to update fans on many of the casting decisions made so far. Just today he posted a welcoming gif of actor Peter Sarsgaard to let us in on his casting, but we all have the same question now: Who, exactly, will Sarsgaard be playing in The Batman? Well, I’m betting on a certain coin-loving villain who never starts off as one.

This take on the tale of The Dark Knight is said to feature a more in-depth look at Batman’s skills as a detective, as well as using a rogue’s gallery approach to the baddies it will use...

Black Widow’s Trailer Proves

The first trailer for Black Widow promises fascinating backstory, thrilling action sequences and the trademark humor of the MCU, but it also confirms that a Black Widow solo movie should’ve happened years ago. After the phenomenal success of The Avengers in 2012 took the MCU to previously unseen heights, calls for a Black Widow solo movie began in earnest. After all, Scarlett Johansson was a bona fide A-list leading actress and the likes of Thor, Captain America and Iron Man were beginning to rack up movie credits faster than Quicksilver was exiting the MCU. These calls intensified after DC beat Marvel to the punch with Wonder Woman and dispelled any lingering notion that a female-fronted superhero movie wouldn’t sell tickets; something Marvel discovered for themselves with 2019’s Captain ...

Black Widow’s White Suit

The first Black Widow trailer has finally arrived. Marvel recently unveiled the first footage from the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe entry, which will finally provide Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff with a much-deserved solo movie. And, as we can see in the trailer, Natasha will be getting a few new looks, perhaps most notably a fancy new white suit. But does this particular look carry with it some additional meaning?

Warning: possible spoilers ahead for Black Widow. Granted, this is speculation based on stuff that we see in the trailer, which also includes a first look at Taskmaster along with our first fully realized reveal of David Harbour in the Red Guardian costume...

The Last Jedi‘s Rian Johnson knows this all too well, as his divisive sequel caught some flack for his bold narrative choices. And it turns out that he’s happy about the push back he got online.

Rian Johnson purposefully subverted fan expectations in The Last Jedi, especially when it came to things like Leia’s force abilities and Rey’s parentage...

Loki’s Fate Would Have Changed

Thor: Ragnarok nearly set up a different fate for Loki in Infinity War. Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were shocked to see Thanos kill the God of Mischief within the first few minutes of the movie. Those same fans were still pretty upset by the time that Avengers: Endgame hit theaters, even though it proved that a different version of Loki is alive and well within the MCU. In fact, the character even has his own show coming up on the Disney+ streaming platform.

A new book on the making of Avengers: Endgame shows that Thor: Ragnarok was at one time going to have a different ending for Loki. The Thor movie leads directly into Infinity War and sees Loki on the ship carrying the Asgardians who escaped the wrath of Hela. Loki has the Tesseract safe and sound, but originally, he was going to go ...

DC’s Biggest Change in Years

The world of Batman has changed more in the past three years than in arguably the decade, or decades before it. But if fans thought this turmoil would be replaced by peace, or a return to ‘normal’… the biggest changes to Bruce Wayne’s character will be coming to DC Comics in 2020.

That’s when Tom King hands the flagship book to new Batman writer James Tynion IV, having ushered in all of the above changes. While DC’s Rebirth led other books and creators to ‘return to their roots,’ King followed the example of his predecessor Scott Snyder, taking the opportunity to challenge Bruce Wayne along with his readers by asking a question few before dared to: could Batman ever be happy? King’s final issues and his Batman/Catwoman series will give the answer, but as further evidence his early Batman e...
