Toys Tease Possible MCU Spoiler

There may be a pretty large spoiler connecting Black Widow to Avengers: Endgame in some new Funko Pop! figures. The popular toy company revealed a set of figures for Natasha Romanoff’s upcoming standalone adventure, which takes place after the events of Civil War. As Marvel Cinematic Universe fans know, Romanoff did not make it out of Endgame alive after she sacrificed her life on Vormir. Hawkeye was left alone, but he gained the Soul Stone, which was ultimately the key to making their time heist work in the first place. Will the time heist come into play in Black Widow?

Keanu Reeves As Darth Revan

It’s now 2020 but I fully demand the Keanussance of 2019 carry over into this year. Why not? Keanu Reeves makes everything better. And you know what could be better? Star Wars movies. Maybe you love all nine movies in the Skywalker Saga, maybe not. But after watching this fan’s teaser trailer for The Old Republic, adding Keanu as the character of Darth Revan, a former Jedi, I dare you to say this wouldn’t make one fine-ass movie:

Well, I’m in. I was in at Keanu, but I’m ready to grab my wallet for a movie (or Disney+ show?) like this. YouTuber stryder HD posted the video with the teaser “A new Jedi rises,” using footage from Keanu’s 47 Ronin, The Mandalorian, and some fan films, with the titles listed in the description.

The character of Revan fi...

Rise of Skywalker Character Development?

POLL: Which Rise of Skywalker Character Needed More Development?

A big complaint from fans about J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is that it felt rushed, with new characters barely introduced and established characters given short shrift. In many ways the film feels like it’s trying to cram an entire trilogy into one movie. Even recent revelations said earlier cuts had Emperor Palpatine’s return explained and Rose Tico given more scenes with Leia. Now ComingSoon.net readers can make their voice heard, and let us know which character they thought needed a serious boost in development. Sorry, you can only pick one!

Star Wars 9 Emperor Palpatine

One of the biggest things heading into The Rise of Skywalker was the return of Palpatine. The Sith Lord had been presumed dead ever since the end of Return of the Jedi. Yet, the figure was set to make his return as the big baddie to help round out the Skywalker saga. Now, thanks to the movie’s editor Maryann Brandon, we know that even more Palpatine footage didn’t make the cut, and it sounds like important information.

Warning: spoilers ahead for The Rise of Skywalker. Now that the movie has been in theaters for a couple of weeks, the filmmakers are making the rounds diving into more spoiler-heavy conversations. During a recent interview, Maryann Brandon, who edited the movie alongside director J.J...

‘The Mandalorian’ Will Return

The Mandalorian wound down its first season on Disney+ in impressive, satisfying fashion today. And Disney and Lucasfilm had already announced the show would be back for a second season. But series creator and producer Jon Favreau revealed today after The Mandalorian finale that the show’s second season will premiere on Disney+ next fall.

He announced the news in a tweet that also seemed to hint at a character that we can expect to see next season…

That’s a Gamorrean, a race that was first introduced as Jabba the Hutt’s guards in Return of the Jedi. There’s no guarantee we might be headed back to Jabba’s palace — remember, this series is set after Return of the Jedi when Jabba is already dead — but that could be an interesting location for an...
